How to buy a steelhead fishing license

Electronic licensing is now required by government... Guests must purchase the required angling licenses online at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca.

Follow link above and click on the yellow box on the right that says “Buy a freshwater Licence” If you do not know your “Angler Number” and have your licence from previous years, you can retrieve your “Angler Number” from it or request it at the bottom of the page. If you have not fished in BC before, then you need to register by clicking “Register Now”. Follow the instructions through to purchasing your licence page.
1. You will need a “Basic Licence”.
2. You will then need to add the “Classified Waters Licence”. You will need 7 days. Be sure to check the guided box and add “Billy Labonte” to the box for “Guides Name”
3. You will then need to add a “Steelhead Conservation Stamp”. If fishing in November, the Classified waters and Steelhead stamp are not required.

If you have any questions please contact us. We recommend you purchase your license a few days prior to your trip commencement. The BC government does not offer any refunds for unused licenses.
